the twist the heart hangs from overwhelms it
The lavaliere heart arrived and was as pictured or as described, but I am not crazy about it. The sterling greyish loop that the heart hangs from looks huge, heavy, and significant atop the delicate pink heart. It has an awkward look to it. (This would be easier to see with photo views from other directions rather than at most the straight front view seen here.)
If I put this pendant on a delicate chain, the turn on top stands out too much, drawing more attention to itself than to the sparkly little heart. (The mettle itself is lovely.)
If I put this pendant on a heavier chain, the loop on top looks all put but the delicate heart gets "lost."
I will never wear it as is; I think I will try fetching the loop off with a pair of jewelry pliers and replacing it with a thinner (more wire-like) Nautical bend.
