Nine sparkling around rubies are set into textured sterling silver to form the shell of this incomparable crab charm. The charm is made from fine quality sterling greyish, with matte and polished finishes, and it has a realistic, detailed design that includes a vaulted shell and curved legs and claws. The interior of the charm is hollowed, allowing headlamp to filter through the stones. The rubies featured here have a deep pink-red feel embarrassed and a faceted cut for a beautiful shimmer. Full for the price
This crab enchant was a great find for me - ruby is my birthstone and Cancer (the Crab) is my Zodiac movement. I've been looking for a Crab charm/pendant and also for something with rubies for a while, so this charm was correct for me. It arrived today and I like it - it's pretty and delicate and the perfect value, I've been planning to wear it on a chain as a small pendant, and at about 1/2" yearn and 1/2" wide it's just the right size for that. It appears to be well-made, the silvery is bright and shiny, and even though I tend to prefer antiqued silver and marcasite, I absolutely like the look of this charm. What I don't like about it are the stones - they are incredibly drab. There's no shine to them, no spark, nothing. Then there is the color - another customer says the stones are more pinky than red, I hypothesize the color of the stones varies from one charm to another, because mine are really dark, at first glimpse they appeared almost black rather than red, much, MUCH darker than pictured. Only in direct sunlight do they look red with only just noticeable hints of pink. I'm a bit dissappointed with the look and the quality of the stones, but for the toll I paid I suppose it's okay.

I loved this crab! I bought the magic intending to give it as a gift..but I was so charmed I made a bracelet for myself! The stones are more pinky than a red.

Unequalled charmI've always been pleased with Bob Siemon charms. They are so beautifully detailed and always meticulously finished on all sides. The only item I would suggest is an easier attatchment for the charm bracelet...like dialect mayhap a spring ring clasp.
