Add a Celtic locale to your style with this pretty openwork pin, featuring a marquise-shaped down of honey amber framed by two triquetra knots. This eye-catching addition is fashioned in polished 925 sterling silver and finished in back with a yardstick locking pin. Beautiful amber is the fossilized resin of ancient pine trees. Product Description
O Christmas tree! Glittering fresh and sparkling white crystals make this Margot Townsend pin the exquisite bit of holiday bling for your sweater or lapel. The silvertone tree is topped with a matchless, and the piece is finished with a standard locking pin in back. This pin makes a sweet largesse, or a nice addition to your holiday collection.Customer Reviews
No take on board it's a TownsendAlthough the tree purports to be a merchandise of Margot Townsend, the pin is unmarked and untagged, appears to be made in China. Emails to her band to request a tag or some proof it is a Townsend tree went unanswered. For collectors, incapacity to prove provenance renders jewelry almost worthless. It doesn't seem too much to ask for a box, a tag or a norm. If it is just for wearing, that's fine, but there are much better looking trees on the call. Its appeal is in the fact that a collector might want to have the various MT trees, and there is no sign whatsoever this is one.
Platinum Plated Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia Dragonfly Pin
Product Description
This shimmering dragonfly pin makes a pleasing focal point for a scarf or lapel. Made from sterling silver with a polished platinum overlay, it's paved in cubic zirconia along the wings, with graduated colors that kind from teal to aqua. Clear cubic zirconia stones brand the slender curved body for an all-over sparkling effect. It's finished in back with a pattern locking pin.Customer Reviews
Splendorous Dragonfly PinThe pin is exquisite and lives up to it's description. My daughter absolutely loves it.
Customary looking, but it's inexpensive
The pin is well-bred looking. Be forewarned about the picture, however. The green gradient isn't as smooth as shown in the pictures. The existing gems could be clearly seen in 3 distinct bands, deep na, light green, and clear.
Overall, an OK item at an OK price.
Reader Mail: How to wear brooches?
Brooches go in and out of manner. I have been collecting them to tediously tire to profession for 38 years. On a jacket, recognize the clasp so as to call attention to the cut of the jacket. Try them out while the jacket is still on the hanger. If the shirt has a low neck, a necklace will look well-advised than a fastening. Yes, you can pool three or five brooches (always an odd loads) on one lapel, and that is first-class for drudgery. Of without a doubt it must be a big lapel, and the brooches must rehearse to each other in some way: dogs, stones, vegetation, etc. Sparkly brooches are heinous at vocation from about November 1 through New Years.
